There were reports over the weekend that Johnny Jeannevol was quoted claiming that Pete Doherty tried to commit suicide over the news of his lost love Kate Moss’ recent engagement. Johnny Jeannevol, the singer’s minder, told the News of the World that Doherty took an overdose at the Clouds House clinic in Wiltshire. “He saw an opportunity to take an overdose and took it. He told me he didn’t know what the pills were, but … took them all”.
The Babyshambles singer, Doherty had a very tumultuous relationship with model, Kate Moss, which ended several months ago after too much drug use and too many drug induced affairs.
BBC News is reporting that Pete’ s manager Andy Boyd has stepped forward in effort to set the record straight, denying Jeannevol’s ties to Doherty.
